Lee is not just your average captain; he's a hard-hitting wicketkeeper-batsman who has been leading the fielding with finesse for the past two seasons.

With a knack for sending the ball soaring out of the park, Lee was the leading six-hitter last season. But his talents don't end there – he's also incredibly handy with the ball, able to move it both ways off just a few steps!

What makes Lee truly special is his unwavering dedication to the club. He's been a member for nearly 24 years, starting his journey at the tender age of 6 under the guidance of club legends Simon Gibbs and Alex Parsons. Lee was part of (what is still a heavily debated point) the most successful Junior side the club has ever seen!

His journey from the juniors to the adult sides is thorough. At 14, he began opening the batting for the 3rd XI in Division 9, steadily progressing through the ranks to eventually lead our 1st XI. In 2022, Lee took the reins and quickly turned things around. Leading a 1st XI predominantly made up of homegrown players, he led us to our first-ever promotion from Division 2 – a historic moment for the club!

Despite narrowly missing out on the league title due to an unfortunate rain-off on the final day, Lee's determination remains unshaken. Affectionately referred to by his players as 'not my captain', Lee is now gearing up to drive the 1st XI back to the top of Division 2 and hopefully another title charge!
