Meet George 'Baby-Faced' Barton - Captain, Saturday Second XI

Getting Started:
Meet George Barton, our new skipper for Saturday's Second XI at Kelvedon and Feering Cricket Club. He kicked off his cricket journey here in 2010, starting with Sunday softball sessions at Rye Mill Lane.

Club Journey:
From the early days, George moved through youth ranks, played hardball cricket, and graduated to adult leagues. Climbing the ladder, he earned his stripes with 12 games in the 1st XI.

Leadership Style:
Now at the helm of the Saturday Second XI, George's will be looking to utilise he's team by balancing young guns and seasoned players. He's all set to steer the ship to success, bringing his passion and experience to the leadership role.

Goals Ahead:
George's mission? Lead the Saturday Second XI to promotion at Rye Mill Lane. His strategic thinking and love for the game (or just his vibes, willingness and youthful exuberance) make him the go-to guy for the job. Brace yourselves for an exciting season under his captaincy.

Portman Road Intrigue:
Just one thing – watch out for George sneaking off to Portman Road. Cricket's his love, but who can resist the call of Mckenna ball now and then?
