From 5th May for 8 weeks the club ran the ECB programmes of both All Stars (5 – 8yrs old) & Dynamos (8-11yrs old). These are a set programme of skills-based sessions to introduce children to the fundamentals of cricket. This year, we had an incredible 27 All Stars & 31 Dynamos sign up! Not only did these sessions encourage children to enjoy their cricket with their friends in the sunshine (and consider joining our Sunday Junior Training, because they loved the game so much!), the sessions also encouraged a lovely social atmosphere to the club with the bar being open whilst the children trained. This support also spilt over to the Women's games as once the training was over, many transferred to the main pitch to watch.
