Following the recent AGM, Kelvedon & Feering Cricket Club is delighted to announce Laura Butcher as our new Chair. Many of you will already know Laura through her work as one of our safeguarding officers and as a parent of two junior players who are actively involved in the club.

Laura steps into the role with a clear vision and a deep commitment to strengthening the club’s future. As she shared:

“I am stepping into this role with a commitment to building on the foundations already laid and looking to the future potential of our amazing club and community. I bring with me a passion for fostering cricket for all ages and abilities and I'm grateful to the brilliant team already in place to help achieve this.”

Communication, collaboration and community lie at the heart of Laura’s approach. She emphasises the importance of staying connected with everyone across the club:

“I believe the key to being successful in this role lies in strong communication be that with players, parents/guardians, members, volunteers, coaches, the committee and I look forward to speaking with you all over the coming weeks and months.”

As we look ahead to a busy and exciting season, Laura is eager to support the continued development of all our players—across our thriving youth section and our eight adult teams, including two newly promoted sides.
