We are pleased to announce a two-part investment in our ever-growing Women and Girls section of the club.

Exciting news heading into the 2024 season!

We are pleased to announce a two-part investment in our ever-growing Women and Girls section of the club.

We had a significant growth in participation in the 2023 season and wanted to continue the momentum and build this already successful and integral part of the club. With some significant investment from Indaver Rivenhall, Prested Hall Health Club, as well as our growing conglomerate of sponsors, we're pleased to have done just that!!

Firstly, we've invested in two brand new team kitbags, with cricket equipment designed by Nexx specifically to fit and protect women and girls. Whether you're a seasoned player or a newcomer, these kits will be available for everyone. Plus, we've teamed up with Nexx to ensure that we can continue to provide for our players, and there will soon be 10% discount code for KFCC members to use on their amazing products. So, get ready to elevate your game with the best equipment out there!

Secondly, and maybe a little overdue, we have signed up our Women's 1st XI to the Red Sportswear team and all players that represent our womens side will be provided with a brand new playing top! We all love new kit, and we're hoping the new look inspires another great season, and hopefully, more girls are coming through the KFCC pathway into our Women's XI!

KFCC has always been a front-runner in Women's and Girls' cricket, headed up originally by our very own Beth Barrett-Wild. Beth led from the front when the Women's XI was set up back in 2008 and has helped inspire many girls to take up cricket over the years.

It is an ongoing priority for the club to ensure we continue to inspire women and girls to take up cricket, give them a lifelong love of the game, and make the experience of being at Kelvedon and Feering Cricket Club the best it can be.

Interested in playing? Know someone that is? It's not too late to sign up, whether you're a complete beginner or have many seasons behind you.

We have women and girls softball taster sessions coming up for all ages on Monday 6th May at KFCC on Rye Mill Lane between 12pm and 5pm - watch this space for more info!

For regular training we have softball opportunities in our Dynamo's and All Stars programmes running on Friday Nights for 8 weeks from May.
